Named Lecture application form

Welcome to the Named Lecture application form for the Diabetes UK Professional Conference 2025.

Deadline for Named Lecture applications is Monday, 4 November at 5pm (GMT).

In response to attendee feedback, we are looking to release more time within the conference programme and after consideration, we will now be running Named Lectures on a biannual basis which will enable us to do this. For next year?s conference we will be hosting the following:

•  Banting Memorial Lecture
•  Dorothy Hodgkin Lecture
•  Janet Kinson Lecture

Further details on these lectures and eligibility can be found on our website. All selected lecturers will receive accommodation, registration and travel covered for the conference as well as a small honorarium. Please note that the honorarium will be reimbursed upon publication of a lecture review article in Diabetice Medicine or Practical Diabetes.

A panel of judges will be convened from across Diabetes UK?s Professional groups to review and deliberate all received applications shortly following the application deadline. We would expect a decision to be reached by the end of November.
